ART Rental and Sales Submissions
Due to the fact that the OAG will be moving to a new building in 2017 there are currently no upcoming Jury Selection dates.
ART Rental and Sales strives to open doors for both established and emerging regional artists by extending to them the opportunity to become part of a reputable gallery collection, gain valuable public exposure and ultimately, increase the retail potential of their work.
Artworks are consigned to the ART Rental & Sales collection through a jury selection. Artists must be living or working within 150km from the gallery.
Regional artists are invited to digitally submit (no more than 4) works per jury session for consideration to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include "ART Rental & Sales Submission" in the subject line.
The Jury Selection Committee meets twice a year: January and July.
Submissions must be accompanied by:
- artist's contact (address, telephone number and email address)
- images of the 4 works submitted (you may include up to 3 images of each, individual work if they are three dimensional)
- list of works (identified by: title, date of execution, medium, size and price)
- small artist statement with information on the artist/ works submitted
All accepted works must be ready for hanging and be labeled with the artist's name, title of the work, medium and date of execution. All accepted artworks on paper must be framed.
All works accepted will be consigned to ART Rental and Sales for one year where they will be stored on-site and displayed, on rotation, in our back gallery space in ART Rental & Sales as well as posted on our online dadabase.
Once accepted, work will require the signing of a consignment form which will be sent via email and signed upon delivery of the artworks to the gallery. The gallery remits a 35% commission on sales and 50% on rentals.
Transportation of the works to and from ART Rental and Sales will be the artist's responsibility.
