Found object
An object which is found, selected, and exhibited as a work of art without being altered. It can be natural (a shell), or manufactured (a household item). First used by Surrealists, the term suggests that anything with aesthetic value, even inadvertently so, is a work of art and worthy of being exhibited as such.

A collection of unwanted items which have been disposed of.

Something put up in memory of a person or an event, such as a statue or building.

The space surrounding an object.
