Meet the Artist School Program
Meet the Artist is an ongoing series of workshops geared towards high school students. School groups from grades 9 to 12 are invited to the Gallery for a personal visit and activity with an artist whose work is on display. Each two-hour workshop involves either an interactive project or a demonstration of techniques used by the artist in their work. Meet the Artist workshops generally take place over a set week in the fall, or over two set weeks, one in the fall and one in the winter.

High School Student Docent Volunteer Program
A great new program initiated in fall 2007, the Student Docent Program gives teens an opportunity to complete their volunteer hours by acting as a docent at OAG openings. Student Docents meet with OAG Public Programming staff prior to openings and learn about the artists, themes, and art historical content associated with the various exhibitions. At the opening, Student Docents are on hand to provide information to gallery-goers engage in discussion with art lovers.
