This year OAG turns 20 and the Firestone Collection of Canadian Art turns 35!

In celebration of a double anniversary we're going to party like it's 1988! Join us at the opening of our fall exhibitions for a retro '80s party with music by DJ Chris Ikonomopoulos and DJ Daisy, a cake created by the girl with the most cake, karaoke hosted by Shanghai's China Doll, and button-making with artists Deborah and Andrew O'Malley. So crimp your hair, groom your moustache, and put on shoulder pads for a radical time!

Speaking at the event will be Marion Dewar, former Mayor of Ottawa (1978-1985), and artist Pat Durr, both instrumental in the creation of Ottawa's municipal art gallery.
