In the context of the exhibition Myths of the Land, Donna Stewart of the Ottawa StoryTellers will present a family workshop exploring storytelling. Children's voices, adolescents' experiences, and parents' understanding will be drawn upon to explore the way geography, landscape and cultural values influence myths. Workshop participants will learn about the oral tradition of storytelling, create a story, and tell it to each other. Then, each family will work together to create their own story. This is a great opportunity for parents and children (age 7 and up), youth, and adults.

Cost:
$10 for adults
$5 for children and students
($2 members' discount)

Spaces are limited!
