Exhibitions
The Ottawa Art Gallery hosts a variety of exhibitions by artists exploring a range of media. Esteemed for their quality and diversity, OAG exhibitions provide people of all ages with a source of enlightenment and new discoveries in the world of visual art.

Acquisitions
Part of the Ottawa Art Gallery's mandate is to acquire works of art for OAG's contemporary collection from internationally recognized artists who have links to Ottawa.

Education and Public Programs
The Ottawa Art Gallery's Public Programs offer a range of programs and services to many educational institutions. Throughout the year, students participate in curriculum-based learning programs at OAG. The Ottawa Art Gallery's educational offerings combine gallery tours and activities under the direction of museum professionals.

Research
OAG curators onduct research in the field about various areas of interest. Many of OAG's publications are a direct result of such research. Sponsorship opportunities are available to support the publication of a variety of catalogues and print material.

Lectures and Special Events
The Ottawa Art Gallery hosts a number of events for which sponsors are required. These events include Artist-to-Artist (a unique program of artist talks–the only one of its kind in Canada), Collectors Circle, OAG's annual spring art auction, a number of gallery and exhibit openings, and Dr. Jennifer Dickson's ever-popular biannual lecture series, among many others.

Guest Artists and Curators
Every year, the Ottawa Art Gallery invites artists and curators from other areas of Canada to work in partnership to produce innovative exhibits that serve to invigorate Ottawa's local arts community. Your support can help bring these professionals to Ottawa, and assist them in contributing to the culture of Canada's fourth largest city.
